The Art Meetup: First Open Mic of the Summer

Live music, open mic, creative community, drinks, conversation, and the easiest way to meet new people in NYC this summer. Limited space.

This open mic is one of the friendliest creative spaces in New York. It is the kind of room where people actually talk to each other, where artists meet by accident, and where you can show up alone and still feel part of something.

We meet on Saturday, June 6 from 3 to 7PM in Chelsea. Doors open at 2 if you want a quieter arrival or time to settle in. Expect live music, poetry, storytelling, free crafts, and a mix of artists, neighbors, and curious people who just want to be around creative energy. DJ Bino will be with us all afternoon.

This event works because it is more than an open mic. People trade Instagrams, start group chats, plan projects, and find opportunities they did not expect. It feels like the New York people say is gone, even though it is still here.

If you'd like to support The Art Meetup, donations go directly toward paint, markers, bracelets and craft supplies, sound equipment, signage, permits, event tools, and future programming. Every dollar helps keep these events accessible to artists and neighbors across NYC.
